BREAD. BLOOD. BODY

The Bread is for our healing. The Blood is for our righteousness. Jesus' Body was our sacrificial lamb.

Holy Communion

The Last SACRIFICE

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son. He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 1 John 5:9-11 NKJV

The bread

Now on the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying to Him, “Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?” So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them; and they prepared the Passover. He answered and said, “He who dipped his hand with Me in the dish will betray Me…” And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” Matthew 26:17,19,26 NKJV

the blood

Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.” Matthew 26:27-29 NKJV

Holy Communion The Blessing That Heals

While serving Holy Communion one New Year’s Sunday morning, I had a vision. I saw Jesus bloodied and severely wounded. I felt within myself a very small portion of the agony of His deep suffering and pain He experienced for me. It was so real. That experience challenged what I had been taught and up to that point had believed about communion. Isaiah 53:1-5 suddenly encompassed so much more than I could have imagined about my wholeness.
